Obituary of Edwin T. Bachmann

Edwin T. Bachmann, 86, Bloomfield NY, passed away unexpectedly on April 24, 2023 after a brief illness. Ed was born March 9, 1937 to Lynn and Dorothy Bachmann of Honeoye Falls. After graduating from Honeoye Falls High School in 1954, Ed served honorably in the US Marine Corps, achieving the rank of Corporal. He then attended college and earned a degree in Printmaking and Publishing through the Graphic Arts Research Center at Rochester Institute of Technology. After many years working in the printing business, he learned carpentry and realized a love of woodworking, amongst numerous other pursuits. Above all Ed loved his family and is survived by his wife and best friend of 61 years, Sharon (née Morris), daughters Susan (Antonin) Tutter, Sarah Bachmann, cherished grandchildren, Lena and Isadora Tutter, niece Julie Winter (née Smith), nephew Joseph Gerzseny, nephew Jeffrey Gerzseny, and several great nieces and nephews. Ed was predeceased by his parents, Lynn and Dorothy Bachmann (née Tiffany), sister Ann Mary (née Bachmann) Michael, brother Lynn "Joe" Bachmann Jr., sisters-in-law, Maria Rader (née Morris) and Carol Gerzseny (née Morris), niece Laura Barton (née Gillette), and nephew Richard Smith. At his request, there will be no calling hours or services. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contribiutions in his memory may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital, www.stjude.org
