Obituary of Cynthia C. Mehring

Cynthia Coons Mehring was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, June 29. Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Joseph William (Bill) Mehring, daughter Rebecca Voymas (Ben), son William (Bill) Mehring, her precious grandchildren Kylie, Madeline, and Thomas Mehring, and sisters Sally Hurwitz (Andy) and Cheryl Hill (Peter). Cindy will be remembered as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Cindy cherished time with her family, and especially enjoyed cooking delicious meals for them. She was an avid reader, often sharing her books with family and friends. Bible study was an important part of her life. She was a member of Community Bible Study for many years. Cindy generously gave of her time to mentor others in their Christian walk, sharing Christ's love with all who knew her. Cindy was a humble servant of the Lord, and according to her wishes, no formal memorial service has been planned. A private graveside service will be held at the family's convenience.
