So young, a true tragedy! I had the pleasure of working with her during my time on the PHN board and at passive House conferences. My Mother passed at age 42 and was a force of nature like Sharon.
Both work for so much good in their short lives. They have outpaced most of us in contributions to the earth and its inhabitants. My condolences to her family. She will be missed.

Sharon and I were at FIT and lived in the same building in Brooklyn in the late 90’s. She was a special person. She was extremely knowledgeable regarding art, creative works, and life offerings. Her passing is a loss for the world. My condolences to all family members.

My deepest sympathy goes out to all Sharon's family and friends. We worked together at the Passive House Network for many years. Her passion and commitment to better buildings via education was recognized by all who worked with her. She will be sorely missed.

Sharon and I met in Grad school and became fast friends, bonding over our love of the arts, photography, nature, cats, and dating in the city. We had many wonderful adventures together: seasonal hiking, travels to the UK, seeing bands, and going to bars. She was such a good friend. Truly. For 10 years, one of my besties. I am so sad for her family and the world I know she was doing good for. She really loved life. And she was loved. Still is. Always....

My heart goes out to you and your son. What a terrible loss. I didn’t have the privilege of knowing Sharon but I know I would have loved her. Please let me know if I can do anything for you -even just a hug!

Where do I start… Sharon and I spent a few years together as good friends. They were very important years in the development of who I came to be. I always looked forward to going to Sharon’s house to spend the night. I think I enjoyed her mom as much as I enjoyed Sharon. Sharon and I shared a love for music. We loved making each other laugh. Sharon invited me over for Boxing Day and introduced me to the music of Enya. I remember she was irritated when her brother interrupted some middle school girl talk with a perfectly executed sneeze. She explained how the word “Bloody” was a swear word, when her brother was reprimanded for using it in a vent session with his mom. Because of my time at The Brind’s, I call my mother Mum. Sharon and I spent time skiing and time at the beach. She introduced me to Flaky Bars and Fingers candy, which I love !! She taught me how to properly and quietly close the car doors. I absolutely loved my time with The Brinds and adored my friend Sharon during the times we hung out. I never forgot her kindness, quick wit and intelligence and laughter… not to mention the coolest hair ever. I will miss you love you, my friend…. Go find Adina and give each other a hug. Until we meet again, Godspeed
