Obituary of Thomas G. Sanderson

Thomas G Sanderson 78 passed away unexpectedly on September 20th 2023 at F.F. Thompson Hospital. He was born in Syracuse, New York.

Tom is survived by 1 brother Burdett (June). Many nieces, nephews, special pet friends Atlas, Rocco and Baby B,  special friend since grade school Roland (Elaine) and very close friends near and far and neighbors also survive him.

He was predeceased by his parents Mary and Harold, sisters Eunice and Pearl, brothers Roy, Bob, Leo, and Richard and niece Debbie. His cats Meme and Lovee were also very important to him.

In his spare time when not at B-I-N-G-O he collected teapots, tended his garden, knitted and crocheted. Tom was always willing to help his friends in need. When Tom retired from the town of Mendon he continued to work by making weekly food deliveries of food to a program with animals to help them out. He also helped at special events with Honeoye Falls Fire Department, where had had been a member since October 1, 1973, the Mendon Carnival along with being a very active member of the Honeoye Falls Fire Ladies Auxiliary. Tom's friendships were many and he will be surely missed by all.

Friends may call, Saturday, October 7th, 2023 from 12-2 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street. Interment will immediatley follow at the North Bloomfield Cemetery.
