Obituary of Susan A. McMahon

Susan Ann McMahon, 64, of Honeoye Falls passed peacefully Thursday, October 5th, 2023 after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Barbara O'Connor, sister Kathleen Freeman, brothers-in-law Robert and Harold (Skip) Freeman, niece Stephanie Freeman. She is survived by her son Shawn McMahon and granddaughter Ariyah, son Chad (Molly Gimbel) McMahon, sisters Patricia Freeman, Ann Sandman, Maureen (David) Sproull, Eileen Tassone, Martha (James) Hoh, JoAnn Connolly, many nieces, nephews, and friends, including her dear friend Doug Richards. Susan attended Columbus School of Art and Design. Susan was a talented artist and used her talent teaching arts and crafts. Susan was a devout Christian and follower of Jesus Christ. She had a love for music, people, and life and had a wonderful sense of humor. She will be remembered for the joy she brought to others with her caring friendship, kindness, and generosity. No prior calling hours. A funeral mass for Susan will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 6th at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 26 Mendon Ionia Rd. in Mendon, NY. Interment immediately following at Mendon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Honeoye Falls Volunteer Ambulance or Pittsford Volunteer Ambulance in Sue's memory.
