I knew Carl almost all my life. He was always a kind and a real gentlemen. I spent many hours over the years talking with him and Shirley at their home. It's sad to loose some a wonderful person but I'm glad he's with Shirley now. They were meant to be together forever. I will truly miss them both.

I am so very sorry for the true end of an era as my sister Lynn and I have lost our last living relative (Uncle Carl) outside of our immediate families. Uncle Carl was full of humor and affection, and I always looked forward to Sundays above "the store". A hug and kiss to "sis" for me, Uncle Carl. So many loving memories of you <3

Spent many of my allowance pennies at that wonderful store. Also remember the many stories my dad, Bruce Cope, told of his friendship and adventures with Carl. Carl spent many hours with my dad in his final days for which we were all grateful. Truly a nice man and even greater friend. May God bless you for your kindness shown my mom after dad's passing. Rest in peace as you surely deserve.
