Obituary of William Schmidt

William "Bud" Schmidt of Honeoye Falls, died Monday, January 19, 2009 at the age of 78. He was born the son of Frank and Ida Land Schmidt on October 6, 1930 in Fishers, NY. Bud was a life time farmer in the Honeoye Falls-Mendon area. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and ice fishing. The family would like thank Dr. Raman Qazi for all of the medical care that was given to Bud for the last 12 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Mary Lou. His daughters, Margaret (Evan) Cady; Patricia Schmidt and Kathryn Keenan (Tom Edwards). Grandchildren, Carl (Christin) Cady, Reece Lambert, Chad Lambert, Philip Keenan and Elizabeth Edwards. Great grandchild Cayleigh Cady. Sister, Geraldine Ellis. Nephews, William and Richard (Deb) Ellis. His best friend Oscar and many many other friends. Friends may call Thursday, January 22, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. Funeral Mass, Friday, January 23, at 10 am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 26 Mendon-Ionia Road, Mendon. Burial, St. Paul of the Cross Cemetery, Honeoye Falls.
