My dad was Frank Kennedy, and growing up I heard the name "Freddie Muhs" often. My Dad drove bus part time for Rush Henrietta while working at Rochester Products. Perhaps that's where he met Freddie. Dad was also a bowler and a hunter and fisherman. I think he and Freddie shared some of those activities. My dad passed on 3/8/2003 at the age of 88. Thanks for making the reference to "The Greatest Generation." Dad was a veteran of WWII also, spending from 1941-45 overseas. I know my dad cared very much for your dad, and they were faithful friends. God Bless you and your family in your time of sorrow. Please write back if you are so inclined. I was a 1963 graduate of Rush Henrietta. Please remember Jesus said "I am the resurrection and the Life."

I've only known Freddie for the past 20 years and can only guess how many lives he touched. He was just about the sweetest man I ever met.
My wife Linda Mack (Katie's daughter) and I will miss him dearly, but we are comforted, knowing he had a long and graceful life.
