Phyllis Chapin Stickels of Honeoye Falls, formerly of Buffalo, died Saturday, August 15, 2009 at age 91. She was predeceased by her parents, Leon and Hazel Chapin; 2 brothers, one sister and her husband Byron C. Stickels, Jr. Phyllis was born August 9, 1918 in North Bangor, NY, the daughter of Leon and Hazel Roys Chapin. She is survived by her son, Byron C. (Michelle) Stickels, III; daughters, Suzanne Bahny and Tracy (David) Meyer. Grandchildren, Byron C. Stickels IV, Philip Stickels, Robert and Kristin Bahny, Matthew, Andrew and Kaitlin Meyer; 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff and care givers at Pinehurst Senior Living Center for the loving care they showed to their mom.

No prior calling. Friends may attend Services, Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 2pm at the Henrietta United Church of Christ, 1400 Lehigh Station Road. Burial, Elmlawn Cemetery, Buffalo, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Life Time Care Hospice, 3111 Winton Road South, Rochester, NY 14624 or to a hospice or charity of ones choice.
