Obituary of Renee Lord

Renee Lord, loving wife, sister, mother, aunt and grandmother, went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2011 surrounded by her family. Born in Jamaica, NY on March 8, 1927, she spent most of her adult life in Liverpool, NY and Dunnellon, FL. She was a graduate of Honeoye Falls High School and Brockport State College. She taught kindergarten for 25 years in Liverpool Central Schools and was a Sunday School teacher for 23 years at Dunnellon Presbyterian Church. Renee's smile was infectious and her positive outlook touched the lives of all who knew her. She loved her family, traveling, collecting antiques, reading and doing crossword puzzles. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charles M. Lord, her sister Nancy Moses of Caledonia, NY, children Gregory of Dayton, OH; Terry (Mary) of Coral Springs, FL; Michael of N. Syracuse, NY; Kevin (Gail) of Stephens City, VA and Barbara (Richard) Ward II of Liverpool, NY, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter, 4 nieces and 1 nephew. Friends may call Saturday, March 5, 2011 from 1:00-2:30 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls, NY. A Graveside Ceremony will be held following calling hours at 3 pm in Honeoye Falls Cemetery. Friends and relatives are welcomed to gather at the Guild Hall in the Honeoye Falls Presbyterian Church after the Graveside Services.
