We are deeply sadden to hear your mother passed away. Rita was a dear friend for over 30-years. We will always treasure the wonderful memories we made with her. She was a caring and loving person who thought of others before herself. Her thoughtfulness was extended to Judy one day when she gave her an angel. She knew Judy collected angels and thought she would particularly enjoy one made from clay. it is so precious and will be more special now.
We look forward to the day when the Lord will descend from heaven with a voice of the archangel and take all of his children home. (1Thessalonians 4:16-18)
Praying these sentiments bring you comfort.

Mrs. Carrier was my brother, Edward's third grade teacher. I had the pleasure of chatting with her last year, and after all the years, she still smiled and asked me "how's Eddie?" They certainly were fond of each other. She was a delightful, lovely woman, and I shall miss her.

I had the pleasure of knowing Rita in the past year. She shared many stories of her life with me and told of a very loving close family of hers. She told of being loved and being grateful of her life with her husband and children. Her stories were wonderful and always had a little humor tucked in. She never failed to in turn ask about me, as she was so very gracious. It seems she lived a full and appreciated life. I will think of her, and be glad always I met her.

Rita has always held a special place in my heart. I will miss having coffee and sharing conversations about kids sports and "town news" with her. Rita always had a warm smile and a soft " well hello, Lisa, how are you today? " for me. God has finally called you home, and you will for eternity be with your beloved Jack. I feel blessed that you crossed my path and feel peace knowing you are at rest. Farewell Rita.

Mrs. Carrier was my third grade teacher at Honeoye Central School. I remember learning to square dance in her room, reciting my multiplication tables in front of her and earning a pack of markers, and putting on a play, "East of the Sun and West of the Moon." What a wonderful year with many friends.
