To the Family of Mrs. Parrish: I would like to extend my condolences for the loss of your dear loved one. Although we have not met personally, my family can empathize with what you are feeling at this time (Over the past year we also have lost loved ones to cancer; I myself have been in treatment since 2010-not that this eases the deep pain you are feeling at this time). May your hearts find a measure of comfort in knowing of Our Creator's wonderful promises for the near future (Revelation 21:4,5 and Isaiah 33:24). Until then, may your cherished, loving memories strengthen and comfort you during the very difficult days ahead- Philippians 4:6,7,13. I am sorry for your loss.

"Hello My Sister!" is how my Annie greeted me over the phone whenever she would call. What a perfect sister she was! Always!! We did everything together as kids ... including walking to school. I missed walking with her when I was in 7th & 8th Grades and she was in high school. I remember when she & I chose to cut our very long hair; my memory says I was sorry after I did that, but I liked to copy her. Whenever our younger cousins Patty & Tracy Schuler came to visit at 143 Clifford Ave, we got so excited going thru our costume jewelry to choose which items we'd pass along to them.
My admiration for my one & only sister will never diminish. She gave me good advice when I needed it, extra love when I needed it, tips on sewing when I took it up in 1977. She flew out to visit us in Lincoln City, OR, when I was pregnant with Kimberly Anne in 1972 and even convinced Mama Jo to fly with her! And she flew out again, this time with Dad, when Cynthia was 2 months young in 1974.
I recall her & Wayne showing me and little Kimmie their first residence, an apartment in Honeoye Falls. They had a Mr. Coffee machine which was new on the market at that time!
She laughed hysterically the time I went to get on the horse (at Gene O'Leary's) but slid right off. She very much enjoyed laughing at me at times when I, on the other hand, was upset. Well, I got a hearty laugh at her the time I sneaked quietly up the winding stairs at 143 and she was sitting on a little bench in front of our vanity table. When she saw me peek around the corner on the stairs in the darkness, she got so scared that she actually fell off that bench! A feat no one can intentionally perform - Haha!
I will forever be grateful that she & Wayne drove cross-country and visited us for 10 days in Sandpoint, ID, in 2002 -- and for 10 days right here in Coeur D'Alene, ID, in 2010!!
So many happy, loving, laughing & crying memories I have with my Annie who will forever be in my heart. I just wish she were still on earth and healthy!!!
