My wife and I were neighbors and friends of Eileen and Bob for over 50 years. Eileen was always a very active participant in local organizations, as her obituary shows.
I had the privilege of writing a letter of recommendation when Eileen was honored
in the HF-L Alumni Hall of Fame, and also participated with her in the Mendon
Historic Preservation Commission. She believed in helping those groups that would
make our local community a better place to live. Oh, that there were more like her.
May she rest in peace.

Eileen and Bob were true friends to our parents sharing many good times together, and more recently Eileen was a kind and caring companion for our Mom, Marge Olney. We will always value the friendship of the Havens family toward ours. Wishing peace for them during this difficult time.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'd like to share some real hope with you. In Psalms 146:4 tells the condition of the dead. He returns to the earth and his thoughts perish. In Acts 24:15 the bible promises a resurrection of our loved ones back to earth. When Jesus resurrected Lazarus from the dead, he brought him back to earth. That was a foregleam of the future. In Psalms 37:11+29 says man will live forever on the earth in peace. That was God's original purpose, for man to live forever in the garden of eden. God's purpose hasn't changed. In Isaiah 45:18 says God created the earth to be inhabited. That's why he gave his son to die for us, John 3:16, so we could have everlasting life on earth In Revelation 21:4 says there'll be no more pain or death. Since there's no pain or death in heaven, those are future conditions for the earth under God's kingdom arrangement. JW.org.
