Bill was a gracious mentor and champion of mine in my very early Xerox career. I am very thankful for his solid belief in me as a young professional, his confidence that I would succeed, and the freedom he gave me to pursue my goals. I am grateful for his kindness, and to have earned his respect. He will always be fondly remembered by me.
My favorite memory is Bill's retirement party at the Spring House in Brighton, and the book of Bill sayings, and the "Mantle of Leadership". Rest in peace, Bill. Thank you for taking our rampant humor in stride.
