The two things I remember most about Aunt June and Uncle Roger are first, their senses of humor...they were ALWAYS fun to be around... and it must be genetic, because their whole family continues to be like that... I ALWAYS had a great time with them and my cousins... the second thing I remember is how they unconditionally accepted every person I ever brought over and instantly made them feel like part of the family, and trust me, some of my friends back in the day were a little dicey, lol. My favorite memories of them? Going to Emblidge Pharmacy and having cousin Nancy fix me up whatever I wanted at their soda fountain (I was probably 7 or so) AND the never ending ping-pong games in the basement. Those days were likely the foundation of my effortless ability to beat Dave so easily now... (just kidding Dave, lol, you're still the king...) Games and laughter, that's how I remember them... made for an awesome family unit from day one. I will miss them both...

My condolences to the Emblidge family and those who knew June, her smile and love of family. It's heartbreaking to lose both parents, but take comfort that Roger and June are together in peace.

I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I live around the corner and often walked past her home. One day your parents were outside tending the yard and I stopped to chat. Your Mom and I had a wonderful conversation and she shared with me her love of her family, especially game nights with her grandchildren. I didn't know her at all, except for that day, and realize that it was my loss not getting to know her better. My sincere condolences to all of you.
