Residing in Honeoye Falls from 1963 to 1968, I counted Roger among my casual acquaintences as well as our trusted druggist. My admiration of him as a gentleman, and as a gentle man, has survived the passage of 52 years. I would have liked to know him and his wife better.

To The family of Roger and June,
The community and its families have lost precious people. Living in Honeoye Falls, there were countless trips by walking, strollering, biking, etc.for a treat, medicine pr advice. So many early years were remembered by our children's next milestones of growth...walking or riding ahead as earned. Spending money to "free" shop in the Pharmacy or as time moved on, go ahead BUT you must wait for me at the pharmacy. Roger and June were always smiling, kind and wonderful! Until just recently I'd see Roger at HFMP and I'd hear about how his golf game was going, etc and he, what our "kids" were up to. WOW, I am at a loss.

To the family of Roger and June,
Please know that your parents were very supportive of our son, Tim, during his high school years, in the middle 1980’s. Tim worked at the pharmacy counter most days, after school, and loved helping June with the gift shop. They were great mentors.

My condolences to the Emblidge family. Roger was my father's best friend and best man at his wedding and as kids it was always a treat to go to Emblidge's in Honeoye Falls. He and June were great friends of my parents. Rest in Peace Roger, I hope you're golfing on the course of your dreams now.

I live around the corner from your parents, but knew your Dad many years ago as a customer at Emblidge Pharmacy. I visited with your parents one day when they were out in the yard and your Dad and I talked about the pharmacy. He asked my name and I truly think he was trying to remember exactly who I was. He was so kind and such a gentleman. I am truly sorry for your loss. Losing both of your parents at the same time - it is heartbreaking. My sincere condolences to you all.

To the family of Roger, your Dad was an icon in Honeoye Falls while I was growing up. I have many memories of going into Emblidges sometimes daily. Always a pleasant smile and ready to help you with whatever was needed. Sarge saw him on the golf course many times. Or Dipper Dans! Dad would stop, chat, and laugh with us.
Our deepest sympathy for the loss of this fine man. He was always quietly there.
Sarge And Eleanor Sexton
