Hank was born Dec. 7, 1920 in Honeoye Falls and was a life-long resident. He and his wife started two successful, local businesses. Be-Mar Roller Skating was begun in 1958, which provided a fun, recreational activity for students in over 200 area schools. In 1989, Marie and Hank opened the Dipper Dan Ice Cream Shop, which continues to be a community favorite for young and old alike. Hank was very family oriented, which was reflected in his businesses. He loved being around people and was one who made the most of life!
Hank's family would like to extend a special thank you to his many healthcare aides for their dedication, care and kindness: Shannon, Margo, Jessica, Debbie, Bonnie, Cathleen, and the UR Home Hospice staff for their invaluable assistance.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at the Honeoye Falls Cemetery, North Main St. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Honeoye Falls or Falls Legion Post #664.
